Professor Theresa Marteau is Director of the Behaviour and Health Research Unit in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge, Director of Studies in Behavioural and Psychological Sciences at Christ’s College, Cambridge and Principal Investigator of the Wellcome Trust Strategic Award in Science: Behaviour Change by Design.

Her research focuses on design and evaluation of interventions that target non-conscious processes to change behaviour to improve population health and the acceptability of these to publics and policy-makers.
